EXPERIENCE:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five years experience in recovery and/or power boiler project engineering.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Fluent in Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Project is a plus.
  • Ability to support several projects in different phases at one time.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, both salaried and hourly office and field workforces.
  • Assess customer and sub-supplier specifications and incorporate into offerings.
  • Professional Engineer is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of construction industry and industry practices.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Project Management in engineering activities, equipment specifications, and bid evaluations.
  • Provide strong technical guidance to Project Management on sub-supplier offerings.
  • Plan and coordinate scope and schedule for completion of design work.
  • Assist in negotiating technical and commercial contracts of sub-suppliers along with the purchasing groups.
  • Manage the timely production of project deliverables and with key milestone dates in mind to support other aspects of the project.
  • Monitor the deliveries from sub-suppliers for schedule & quality compliance.
  • Ensure customer, sub-supplier and company documentation is handled and filed for future retrieval/archiving.
  • Support field installation and operational opportunities as it pertains to equipment supplied.
